Gibrán Mendoza. Yope Projects.

Gibrán Mendoza’s work recreates feelings of nostalgia for a childhood and adolescence marked by manga, cartoons, high school studies, memes, video games and innocence.

This project is the first of a series of exhibitions made possible thanks to the Madrid City Council’s Grants to Independent Spaces that will bring, through Atelier Solar, several national and international independent spaces. In this case Yope Projects (Oaxaca, Mexico) brings us to Madrid the exhibition of one of the members of the collective.
