Statement. Canal Gallery
Canal Gallery returns to the capital with a group exhibition that promises to be a milestone in its trajectory. Organised at the headquarters of Galería Nueva at Dr. Fourquet 10, this exhibition, which will be held from 4 to 10 November, comes a year after its last presentation in this same space, marked by the growth and consolidation of the gallery.
Under the curatorship of Balu, founder and director of Canal Gallery, and with the collaboration of Paula Rosell, the exhibition brings together works by artists whose careers are booming on the contemporary art scene. Many of these artists are exhibiting for the first time in Madrid, making this a key moment both for their careers and for the spectators who will have the opportunity to discover their work.
Balu’s vision, with more than two decades of experience as an artist, curator and researcher, is reflected in the selection of pieces presented, which stand out for their uniqueness and their ability to establish a direct dialogue with the viewer. The exhibition reaffirms Canal Gallery’s focus on dispossession, the creation of an artistic community and the promotion of art and culture in all its forms.
